USAF Veteran - Tina is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where she served 10 years active duty and two years in the Air National Guard. Industrial Engineering Specialist who managed research to determine the most effective ways for the Military to use its people and equipment. Conducted studies and had oversight of projects that optimized the use of time, money, materials, energy, and other resources.

Medicaid/Medicare Administration - Over 15 years’ experience in managing marketing and education support systems for state public health care programs. As Director of Medicaid for two major managed care organizations (AMERIGROUP and Coventry Healthcare of Delaware), she managed marketing, outreach and business development teams that focused on member recruitment and retention.

Medical Transportation Management - In 2007, Tina transitioned from Medicaid manager care administration to Medicaid Non-emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services as a Senior Manager of Education, Training and Outreach for the District of Columbia office of MTM, Inc. Her primary responsibility at MTM included the training of close to 350 drivers that worked for over 80 sub-contracted transportation providers.

NEMT Chief Operating Officer - Tina served Battle’s Transportation as Chief Operating Officer from June 2010 through 2014. General Manager over MetroAccess, Medicaid, Department of Veteran Affairs and private pay contracts. Oversight of over 100 drivers who handled 1600 trips per day - wheelchair, ambulatory, and non-emergency stretcher. Managed administrative, operations, maintenance, and safety functions.

Senior Proposal Writer/Trainer Consultant - After leaving Battle’s, Tina joined the Total Contract Solutions team, which was a national transit consulting firm, as a Senior Consultant in January 2014. She contributed to the team as a NEMT subject matter expert, proposal evaluation and RFP response development/writer, and training instructor.

NEMT Proposal Consultant - Acted as NEMT proposal and business development consultant for Southeastrans - regional NEMT broker.

NEMT Transportation Broker Proposal Manager - Arriving in April 2015, her multi-faceted skills and experience qualified her as a Proposal Manager at LogistiCare, a national transportation broker. She contributed to the success of the company, focusing on the areas of business development, client management, and operations support through January 2018.

Training Certifications - Includes District of Columbia Department on Disability Services Trainer, NEMT Stretcher Training Certificate, PASS Trainer (2014-2015), WMATA Travel Trainer, Easter Seals Mobility Management and People on the Go, NEMTAC Certified Transport Specialist, and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health COVID-19 Contact Tracing Course.
